About the Role
Prima Corporation Limited is the leading manufacturer of preforms and caps in West Africa, focused on the beverage industry. Established in 1965 and repositioned in 2005, we have consistently exceeded market growth and established a clear position as the industry leader. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Store Supervisor to manage our engineering spare parts and inventory to ensure continuous plant operations. In this role, you will maintain critical spare availability, enforce safety and 5S standards, and lead store personnel to drive continuous improvement across our manufacturing value streams.
Key Responsibilities- Identify critical spares and ensure zero stockouts of all essential parts to prevent machine downtime.
- Lead plant value stream operations, focusing on supply chain coordination, production control, and workflow optimization.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using enterprise software such as SAP, Tally, and Excel.
- Conduct regular inspections of all spare parts, ensure proper bin card control, and monitor correct warehouse locations.
- Coach, counsel, and train store team members to foster a high-performance work environment.
- Enforce strict safety, cleanliness, and 5S standards across all warehouse and storage areas.
- Forecast spares availability and analyze inventory data to support proactive maintenance activities.
- HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, or a related technical field.
- 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in technical warehousing, stock control, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to predict inventory needs, calculate safety stock, and plan reorder points.
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning software such as SAP and Tally.
- Exceptional organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
