About the Role
JNO Integrated Services is a dynamic HR consultancy firm dedicated to helping businesses build strong, efficient, and compliant workforces. We are currently recruiting talented Engineering Officers on behalf of our client in the agribusiness sector to support the maintenance and efficient operation of mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical equipment across poultry farms and processing facilities. The successful candidates will play a crucial role in preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain essential infrastructure including motors, generators, electrical panels, control systems, wiring, pumps, conveyors, and ventilation systems.
- Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new engineering systems and farm machinery.
- Respond swiftly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requirements in field environments.
- Ensure strict compliance with engineering codes and workplace health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory records, and periodic operational reports.
- Minimum of an OND or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in engineering maintenance, ideally within poultry, agribusiness, manufacturing, or food processing environments.
- Proven practical expertise in both mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and familiarity with automated systems, generators, and ventilation equipment.
- Relevant Technical or Trade Test certifications will be an added advantage.
