About the Role
Amaiden Energy Nigeria Limited is a leading provider of technical staffing, inspection, and procurement services to the Nigerian oil and gas industry. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Materials Lead II to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the seamless flow of materials, equipment, and assemblies across various internal and external departments to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and meet the highest quality standards in compliance with global best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Manage requisitions for materials and establish sequential delivery dates based on job order priorities and material availability.
- Examine delivered materials to rigorously verify conformance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Arrange the efficient transfer of materials to meet strict delivery schedules and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Compute exact quantities of materials required to complete job orders by applying deep knowledge of industry processes.
- Oversee the compilation and maintenance of computerized and manual records regarding inventory, shipping, storage, and material location.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
- Proven work experience in the oil and gas industry with a strong background in materials management.
- General knowledge of industry equipment and materials with the ability to positively identify components.
- Extensive expertise in SAP material catalogs and advanced search tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of how and where materials are utilized within plant operations.
