About the Role
Local Buka is transforming food discovery in Africa and the world by connecting users to affordable and authentic local dining options. The platform helps people find meals based on their budget and preferences while supporting small food businesses. By bridging the gap between consumers and vendors, Local Buka enhances access to quality dining experiences for Nigerians and global food lovers. We are currently looking for a passionate Email Marketing Intern to join our marketing team and help drive user engagement through targeted campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in designing, building, and executing daily or weekly email marketing campaigns to promote Local Buka vendors and services.
- Segment email lists based on user behavior, preferences, and demographics to ensure high engagement and low unsubscribe rates.
- Proofread emails for clarity, grammar, and brand consistency before deployment.
- Track email campaign metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and conversions to generate performance reports.
- Collaborate with the content and design teams to create compelling copy and visually appealing assets for newsletters and promotional emails.
- Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, layouts, and calls to action to continuously improve campaign effectiveness.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Basic understanding of email marketing principles and CRM tools.
- Creative mindset with the ability to brainstorm engaging subject lines and promotional content.
- Tech-savvy, highly organized, and eager to learn fast-paced digital marketing strategies.
- Based in Nigeria with reliable internet access for remote collaboration.
