About the Role

In this vital role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing electrical and electronic systems across our fleet of trucks and operational vehicles. Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex electrical faults in trucks, trailers, and other company vehicles.
- Inspect vehicle electrical systems proactively to identify and resolve potential faults before breakdowns occur.
- Maintain and repair essential components including batteries, alternators, starters, lighting systems, wiring harnesses, switches, and sensors.
- Troubleshoot advanced electrical and electronic systems in heavy-duty commercial vehicles efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical repairs are completed safely, adhering to industry standards and strict timeframes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs, diagnosed faults, replacement parts used, and routine maintenance activities.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO, with relevant technical qualifications or trade certifications acting as a strong advantage.
- Proven working experience as an Electrician within haulage, transport, logistics, or heavy-duty vehicle environments.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of overall hands-on electrical experience, with at least 2 years specifically focused on trucks or heavy-duty commercial vehicles.
- Proficient knowledge of modern vehicle electrical and electronic architectures.
