About the Role
Vantegral Consulting is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operations & Installation Manager to join our team in Lagos, Nigeria. In this critical role, you will oversee site operations, equipment installation, commissioning, and field service activities across fuel station and energy projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that all site works are executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones on time.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and execute installation works, follow-on installations, and coordinate electrical, mechanical, piping, and civil interfaces.
- Lead site supervisors and technicians to ensure safe and timely deployment of equipment across pilot and subsequent stations.
- Oversee comprehensive commissioning, testing, handover, and warranty activities.
- Manage logistics, spares, equipment, and field service operations from initial installation through final handover.
- Monitor site progress and deliver regular, detailed reports to senior management.
- Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to swiftly resolve any on-site issues.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), quality, and regulatory project requirements.
- B.Sc./B.Eng. or equivalent degree in Engineering.
- 7 to 10 years of proven experience in operations and installation within fuel stations, industrial plants, or energy equipment sectors.
- Strong background in the Oil & Gas or heavy energy equipment industries.
- Demonstrated site leadership with exceptional team management and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical, electrical, piping, and civil engineering interfaces.
- Robust logistics, field service, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be willing to work fully onsite at our Apapa, Lagos location.
