We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our growing engineering team and support our daily operational demands.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine electrical installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair work across plant facilities.
- Perform basic electrical wiring, control panel setups, and stable power supply connections.
- Identify, install, and work with various electrical components, switches, fixtures, and accessories.
- Strictly follow all electrical safety procedures, regulatory guidelines, and company health and safety policies.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults efficiently to minimize operational downtime.
- Ensure all electrical work is completed safely, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and functional working condition.
- Perform any other electrical or general duties assigned by the maintenance supervisor.
- Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND), Trade Test Certificate, or relevant vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on professional work experience as an Electrician, preferably within a manufacturing, mining, or industrial environment.
- Sound, practical knowledge of electrical safety practices and hazard identification.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and work with different electrical components and complex wiring systems.
- Proven capacity to complete simple electrical wiring and power supply tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Responsible, hardworking, and disciplined disposition with a strong willingness to follow detailed instructions.
- Good communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
