About the Role
Net Engineering Limited (NEL) is a prominent, multidisciplinary engineering firm in Nigeria that has been providing professional engineering services since the early 1990s. We specialize in delivering innovative and sustainable infrastructure solutions across urban and rural communities. We are currently looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to join our growing team and drive the successful execution of impactful construction projects throughout the country.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, design, and analyze civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and public infrastructure in compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare comprehensive engineering designs, detailed drawings, and cost estimates using advanced software.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely and cost-effective completion.
- Conduct site investigations, assess potential risks, and resolve any technical issues that arise during construction.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, government regulators, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Ensure all construction activities strictly adhere to safety regulations, environmental policies, and quality assurance standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in civil engineering and construction management.
- Active registration or eligibility for registration with COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria).
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis tools.
- Strong working knowledge of Nigerian construction standards, building codes, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
