About the Role
Virginrose Resorts is a premier destination known for offering exceptional hospitality, state-of-the-art facilities, and top-tier services to corporate organizations, tourists, and international delegates. We are currently looking for a dedicated and professional Electrician with a minimum of two years of hands-on experience to join our thriving maintenance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe, seamless, and efficient operation of all electrical systems within our resort, contributing to the ultimate comfort of our esteemed guests.
Key Responsibilities- Read, understand, and apply complex electrical blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Safely operate various testing devices including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, alongside standard hand and power tools.
- Install, repair, or replace wiring, lighting fixtures, electrical controls, circuit breakers, and other essential electrical devices.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of electrical systems across our hospitality facilities.
- Accurately document all completed work orders, maintenance activities, and materials used.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow electricians, general contractors, and internal resort team members.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven professional work experience as an electrician.
- Strong, practical knowledge of electrical devices, systems, and safety protocols.
- Must currently reside in Lagos or be fully willing and able to relocate to work on-site.
- Relevant technical certification or trade school diploma in electrical engineering or a related field.
