About the Role
People2profit-NG is recruiting a skilled and safety-driven Electrical Technician on behalf of a premier Oil and Gas production company in Lagos. In this vital role within a world-class upstream environment, you will manage High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) power distribution systems, champion a Goal Zero HSE culture, and drive asset reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on critical HV/LV infrastructure including switchgear, transformers, and UPS systems.
- Ensure strict compliance with IECEx and ATEX standards for electrical equipment in hazardous areas (Zone 0, 1, and 2).
- Adhere to Life-Saving Rules, Permit to Work (PTW), and LOTO procedures while utilizing CMMS for work order management.
- Support facility energy efficiency targets and simultaneous operations (SIMOPS) safely.
- OND, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or recognized National Trade Certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in upstream Oil and Gas or heavy industry.
- Valid CompEx or IECEx certification, High Voltage Switching authorization, and offshore safety credentials (BOSIET/HUET).
- Proven ability to interpret complex electrical single-line diagrams and schematics.
