About the Role
Viju Industries Nigeria Limited, a leading and reputable name in the Nigerian beverage production industry, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Engineer to join our operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical systems and equipment to guarantee optimal performance, minimal downtime, and strict adherence to safety standards across our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Handle all electrical tasks within the beverage production and operations environment, ensuring seamless manufacturing workflows.
- Manage the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and emergency repair of heavy-duty electrical equipment.
- Ensure the safe, reliable, and stable operation of all automated production lines and factory utilities.
- Independently diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues related to various electrical systems and control panels.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all electrical maintenance activities, equipment upgrades, and safety checks.
- Ensure full compliance with national and industry-standard electrical regulations and safety protocols.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on electrical engineering experience, preferably within a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) or beverage manufacturing environment.
- Possession of a Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to independently carry out troubleshooting and intricate repairs of diverse industrial electrical systems.
- Strong familiarity with electrical codes, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Solid technical aptitude, extensive practical factory floor experience, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
