About the Role
Laim Hotel, situated in an ultra-serene environment with unrivaled visibility from the whole of Osogbo metropolis, offers guests an atmosphere of complete comfort, serenity, luxury, and royalty. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Engineer to oversee our facility's electrical infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and safety standards across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair all electrical systems, equipment, and appliances within the hotel premises.
- Conduct routine inspections of generators, transformers, wiring, lighting fixtures, and power distribution units.
- Troubleshoot and promptly resolve electrical faults to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction.
- Implement preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical installations to prolong asset lifespan.
- Supervise junior electrical technicians and coordinate with external contractors for major repairs.
- Ensure full compliance with Nigerian safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Maintain accurate logs of electrical maintenance, energy consumption, and spare parts inventory.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of proven hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, preferably within the hospitality or facility management sector.
- Strong knowledge of building wiring, power generators, HVAC electrical controls, and safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Osogbo, Osun State.
