We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Nigeria. In this role, you will support the design of electrical systems for major industrial and infrastructure projects, gaining invaluable hands-on experience while collaborating with seasoned engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation of electrical single-line diagrams, load schedules, and comprehensive cable schedules.
- Support the detailed design of power distribution, lighting, and earthing or lightning protection systems.
- Assist with electrical equipment sizing, selection, and technical specification preparation.
- Coordinate effectively with other design disciplines, including civil and mechanical teams, to ensure fully integrated project deliverables.
- Review technical drawings and documentation to ensure strict compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Electrical or Electrical-Electronics Engineering with a minimum classification of Second Class Upper (2:1) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD Electrical and other relevant engineering design software is a distinct advantage.
- Good foundational understanding of local and international electrical design codes and industry standards.
- Active COREN registration in view is considered a strong professional plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
