About the Role
Nina Jojer Limited is a reputable Nigerian consulting firm specializing in public policy solutions, business strategy, and technical services. We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Education State Facilitator for Jigawa State to drive our transformative education initiatives. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that educational intervention programs in hard-to-reach areas are effectively monitored, quality-assured, and aligned with expected results. You will work closely with field partners, state agencies, and communities to promote equitable access to quality learning for children, track progress, and manage resources efficiently. Approximately 40% of your time will be dedicated to stakeholder engagement and reporting, while 60% will be spent in the field conducting monitoring activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct primary and secondary data collection and cross-sectoral analysis in consultation with Education Specialists to disseminate key results.
- Document and report weekly on the reach and impact of project interventions using pre-aggregated templates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date databases on education program implementation across all designated output areas.
- Perform quality assurance activities at local government authority (LGA), community, and school levels to ensure high standards of intervention delivery.
- Collaborate with MOE, SUBEB, SAME, and EMIS officials to support timely Annual School Census data collection, processing, and gender-disaggregated analysis.
- Provide technical support to build LGEA staff capacity in managing school safety, gender-based violence prevention, and community engagement.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and produce monthly human interest and picture stories.
- First Degree in Education, Social Sciences, Economics, or a related discipline.At least 5 years of professional experience in supporting capacity development within the education or social sectors.Extensive knowledge of the educational landscape in Nigeria, preferably in northern regions.Proficiency in computer applications, data management, and Microsoft Office suites.Fluency in both English and Hausa (written and spoken) is strictly required.Demonstrated experience working with UN agencies, NGOs, or within humanitarian contexts is a strong advantage.Strong analytical skills, excellent cross-cultural communication, and proven ability to work independently in the field.
