Key Responsibilities
  • Implement comprehensive education activities in accordance with approved organizational work plans and project timelines.
  • Support the establishment, operation, and effective management of temporary learning spaces in target communities where applicable.
  • Coordinate targeted teacher training workshops and capacity-strengthening activities to enhance pedagogical quality.
  • Conduct active school and community engagement sessions to promote enrollment, retention, and community ownership.
  • Monitor learner attendance, engagement, and participation regularly to evaluate academic progress and program impact.
  • Support the seamless procurement, logistics, and distribution of essential education materials and school supplies.
  • Collect, verify, and report accurate education-related data for monitoring, evaluation, and donor reporting purposes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to child safeguarding and social inclusion principles across all education programming.
  • Liaise professionally with local education authorities, school administrators, and community stakeholders to build lasting partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related academic discipline from a recognized institution.
  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in education programming, community development, or the non-profit sector.
  • Prior experience in emergency education programming and humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills in diverse settings.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and adapt to challenging field locations across Nigeria.
