We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Editorial Analyst to join our growing team and help communicate our impact through data-driven storytelling, market research, and engaging business content.
Key Responsibilities- Research financial, economic, and business developments relevant to the healthcare and technology sectors in Africa.
- Analyse financial data, industry reports, and market information to extract actionable insights.
- Produce high-quality, research-backed articles, briefs, and explainers for digital platforms.
- Fact-check content meticulously and verify all data sources to maintain editorial integrity.
- Support the broader Editorial team with accurate data, statistics, and background research.
- Identify emerging industry trends and pitch compelling story opportunities to leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- Three to six (3-6) years of professional experience in editorial analysis, business journalism, or financial research.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and fact-checking capabilities.
- Deep understanding of financial and business news, with a solid grasp of the Nigerian economy.
- Proficiency in using tools like Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and analysis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of meeting tight deadlines.
