Key Responsibilities- Research global and local financial, economic, and business developments.
- Analyse financial data, corporate reports, and relevant market information.
- Produce high-quality, research-backed articles, briefs, and economic explainers.
- Fact-check all published content and rigorously verify information sources.
- Support the wider Editorial team with accurate data and comprehensive research.
- Identify emerging industry trends and high-impact story opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- 3 to 6 years of relevant professional experience in research, financial journalism, or business analysis.
- Strong research, analytical, writing, and meticulous fact-checking skills.
- Deep understanding of financial and business news, with a strong grasp of the Nigerian economy.
- Proficiency in productivity tools such as Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven ability to meet tight publishing deadlines.
