About the Role
M54 Studios is an African theatre production company born from a mission to elevate African storytelling across live theatre, film, and digital platforms. From sold-out UK stage productions to the development of a premium streaming platform, M54 builds cultural IP that travels and redefines how African stories reach global audiences. We are currently looking for a creative and meticulous Editor / Post-production Specialist to join our dynamic production team and help bring world-class cultural narratives to life.
Key Responsibilities- Execute precise picture edits for various video projects including live theatre recordings, promotional content, and digital streaming media.
- Perform comprehensive sound polish, audio mixing, and dialogue cleanup to ensure broadcast-quality output.
- Design and integrate engaging titles, graphics, and visual effects that align with the aesthetic of M54 Studios.
- Prepare, transcode, and export delivery-ready masters according to precise technical specifications for diverse global platforms.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other creative team members throughout the post-production workflow.
- Manage media assets, organize project files, and maintain efficient archival systems for all completed productions.
- Proven professional experience as a video editor, post-production specialist, or similar role within the media and entertainment industry.
- Mastery of industry-standard editing and post-production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
- Demonstrated expertise in audio editing and mixing using tools like Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
- A strong eye for pacing, rhythm, visual composition, and narrative flow in African storytelling.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
