About the Role

We are currently looking for a passionate and qualified Economics Teacher to join our dynamic team in Abuja, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds and preparing students for future academic and professional success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, high-quality Economics lessons to secondary school students using both the Nigerian and British curricula.
  • Develop comprehensive lesson plans, instructional materials, and formative assessments to track student progress.
  • Foster a stimulating, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active participation.
  • Mentor and guide students academically and morally, aligning with the core values of the institution.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences.
  • Prepare students effectively for external examinations such as WAEC, NECO, and Cambridge IGCSE where applicable.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree or PGDE is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2 to 4 years of proven teaching experience handling Economics at the secondary school level.
  • Demonstrated strong subject knowledge and familiarity with both NERDC and British curricula.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.
  • A passionate educator and natural mentor with a collaborative spirit and positive attitude.
  • Valid TRCN registration is strongly preferred.
