We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Civic Education Teacher to join our esteemed faculty in Abuja, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping responsible, informed, and ethically grounded citizens.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and interactive Civic Education lessons aligned with both the NERDC and British curricula to secondary school students.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and active student participation.
- Incorporate core Islamic values and moral principles seamlessly into daily classroom discussions and school activities.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to students, parents, and school administration.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and department heads to design and improve instructional materials and school programs.
- Mentor students and guide their personal development, civic responsibility, and leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Political Science, Government, or a related field (Master's degree or TRCN certification is an added advantage).
- Demonstrated strong subject knowledge in Civic Education and national/global governance systems.
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience within a reputable primary or secondary school setting.
