We are currently seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Economics Teacher to join our esteemed faculty. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping students' analytical and economic understanding while upholding our uncompromising drive for academic excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, learner-centred, and effective Economics lessons that inspire critical thinking and practical application.
- Prepare comprehensive lesson plans, schemes of work, assessments, and high-quality instructional materials.
- Monitor students' academic progress closely and provide targeted support to ensure success in internal and external evaluations.
- Prepare students thoroughly for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, IGCSE, and other relevant external examinations.
- Participate actively in co-curricular school programmes and uphold the school's vision, mission, and core values.
- Possession of a B.Sc., B.Ed., B.A., or equivalent qualification in Economics or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of proven teaching experience in a reputable and structured school environment.
- Strong familiarity with both the Nigerian curriculum and the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
- IGCSE certification and Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) certification will be significant added advantages.
