About the Role
Muksfar Lilies and Oasis College is an established Islamic co-educational institution dedicated to providing a comprehensive educational framework that seamlessly integrates Western academic standards with advanced Arabic and Islamic studies. We are currently seeking a passionate, qualified, and experienced Economics Teacher to join our dynamic academic team and inspire the next generation of leaders.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging, curriculum-compliant Economics lessons to high school students, fostering critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Prepare students thoroughly for major external examinations including WAEC, NECO, GCE, and JAMB with proven track records of success.
- Design and implement effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing constructive feedback to learners and regular updates to parents.
- Participate actively in school co-curricular activities, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
- Maintain a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment aligned with the moral and ethical values of the institution.
- Possession of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Education (B.Edu.), or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Economics or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of verifiable teaching experience handling senior secondary school students.
- Registration with the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) will be a strong added advantage.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to improve student academic performance in external examinations.
