We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Economics Teacher to join our esteemed academic team in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage an engaging classroom environment that fosters academic excellence.
- Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches to suit diverse student needs.
- Monitor teaching and learning activities continuously to ensure optimal student progress.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective sequences of Economics lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
- Teach critical skills that develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Foster social independence and critical thinking regarding economic principles and community investment.
- Contribute to the School Improvement Plan and ensure measurable academic progress.
- Provide comprehensive and timely reports on student progress to management and parents.
- Minimum of a B.Ed, B.Sc(Ed), B.A(Ed), or equivalent degree in Economics or a related field.
- Mandatory completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
- Minimum of one year of verified teaching experience.
- P.G.D.E and T.R.C.N certification will be an added advantage.
- Fluent in English Language (written and spoken) with a proactive, go-getter attitude.
- Demonstrated passion for teaching and youth development.
- Conversant with 21st-century ICT tools and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
