About the Role

Lela Blossom School commenced full academic activities in September 2010 with the aim of providing quality and sound educational services that enable each child to function effectively in a rapidly changing society. Students are exposed to significant preparations that will complement their full development and academic endeavours. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Economics, Financial Accounting, and Commerce Teacher to join our dynamic academic team in Abuja.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the approved curriculum for Economics, Financial Accounting, and Commerce.
  • Develop engaging and interactive presentations to support lesson delivery and enhance student comprehension.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Assess and monitor students' progress continuously, providing regular, constructive feedback and academic support.
  • Participate actively in curriculum development initiatives and school-wide extracurricular events.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment that encourages active student participation and high achievement.
Qualifications
  • Possession of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree in Economics, Accounting, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven teaching experience in high school Economics, Financial Accounting, and Commerce.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong passion for imparting knowledge and shaping the lives of young learners.
  • Ability to integrate modern teaching technology into daily classroom instruction.
