About the Role
WaterBrooks College, a premier institution renowned for delivering world-class educational services across pre-nursery, nursery, primary, college, and advanced levels, is currently seeking a passionate and qualified Economics & Business Teacher. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the academic journey of our Senior Secondary School students, equipping them with critical economic theories and business acumen essential for their future careers and academic success. Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive and engaging lessons in Economics and Business Studies to Senior Secondary School students.
- Prepare students thoroughly for external examinations including UTME, WAEC, and NECO with a strong focus on academic excellence.
- Design, administer, and grade assignments, quizzes, and examinations to monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Provide individualized support and mentorship to students needing additional academic assistance.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavioral development.
- Participate in school-wide curriculum development, departmental meetings, and extracurricular activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Education, or a related field (Master's degree or PGDE is an added advantage).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of proven teaching experience at the Senior Secondary School level.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum, specifically WAEC, NECO, and UTME standards for Economics.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire students and foster critical thinking skills.
- TRCN registration or relevant professional teaching certification is highly preferred.
