Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in Economics and Marketing that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Prepare secondary school students adequately for WAEC and other relevant external examinations with proven strategies for success.
  • Develop, administer, and evaluate appropriate assessments, assignments, and targeted revision programmes.
  • Monitor individual student academic progress closely and provide timely, constructive support where required.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and cultivate a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, school events, and continuous professional development programmes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' performance, attendance, and overall progress.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Marketing, Education, or a closely related academic discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant teaching experience at the secondary school level in Nigeria.
  • Proven track record of successfully preparing students for WAEC examinations with strong academic outcomes.
  • Thorough knowledge and practical understanding of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum and examination standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, organisational, and classroom management skills.
  • Strong commitment to upholding professional teaching standards and engaging in continuous self-development.
