Based in our Lagos headquarters, you will play a pivotal role in shaping financial discourse for investors, policymakers, and business leaders across the country through rigorous macroeconomic research and engaging on-air presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, analyze, and interpret macroeconomic and microeconomic data, including inflation, GDP, exchange rates, and fiscal and monetary policies, for both digital and broadcast platforms.
  • Translate complex economic developments into clear, accessible commentary for a broad, diverse audience.
  • Contribute directly to BDTV programming through confident on-air analysis, engaging panel discussions, and data-driven segments.
  • Collaborate closely with editorial and production teams to identify timely, high-impact economic stories and market trends.
  • Monitor daily market fluctuations and policy announcements to provide swift, authoritative reaction pieces and in-depth analysis.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field; a Master's degree is a distinct advantage.
  • Demonstrated expertise and a strong grasp of both macro and microeconomic analysis.
  • Prior professional experience in economic research, financial journalism, or broadcast media is highly preferred.
  • Confident on-camera presence complemented by exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to thrive, multitask, and deliver accurate content under tight broadcast deadlines.
