About the Role
Little Saints Montessori School, a well-established private educational institution located in Ilupeju, Lagos, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant academic community. Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with our blended Montessori, British, and Nigerian curriculum.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Observe, assess, and track each child's progress, maintaining accurate records and providing regular feedback to parents.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive reinforcement and conflict resolution skills among young learners.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administrative staff to plan school events, curriculum updates, and extracurricular activities.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all pupils under your care at all times during school hours.
- Minimum of a Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed), or a related field.
- Recognized Montessori teaching diploma or certification is a strong advantage.
- Proven teaching experience in an early years or nursery school setting.
- Deep understanding of child development principles and early childhood pedagogy.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
