Millie's British International School (MBIS) is seeking a passionate and experienced Early Years Educator to join our dynamic Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team in Ibadan. Key Responsibilities- Support and extend children's learning through high-quality, play-based teaching and nurturing care.
- Teach phonics, early mathematics, and literacy using developmentally appropriate strategies.
- Support handwriting development and deliver creative lessons utilizing music, dance, drama, and arts and crafts.
- Design and maintain stimulating indoor and outdoor learning environments and vibrant classroom displays.
- Maintain strong classroom management, engage and motivate learners, and cater to diverse educational needs.
- Uphold strict safeguarding principles and demonstrate a consistent commitment to child protection and professional conduct.
- Minimum academic qualification of a B.Ed., B.A., B.Sc., HND, or PGDE in Early Childhood Education from a recognized institution.
- At least 3 years of post-qualification experience in a similar early years role.
- Must reside in Ibadan, within a reasonable commuting distance of Jericho.
- Excellent written, spoken, and reading English language skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and internet browsing.
- A positive attitude, patience, a good sense of humor, and high energy for working with young children.
