About the Role
Tranter IT Infrastructure Services Limited (TITIS), a trusted spin-off of Tranter International Company established in 1989, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Driver to join our operations in Lagos State, Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of clients and staff, managing vehicle maintenance, and navigating the bustling roads of Lagos with utmost professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities- Map out efficient driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trips across various locations.
- Pick up clients and staff punctually from designated locations at requested times.
- Monitor traffic and weather reports consistently to stay up-to-date on road conditions and potential hazards.
- Adjust routes dynamically to avoid heavy traffic congestion, accidents, or road construction.
- Ensure vehicle seats and interiors are clean, sanitized, and comfortable for all riders at all times.
- Schedule regular car service appointments, conduct routine checks, and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Coordinate car wash and detailing services to maintain high standards of interior and exterior vehicle cleanliness.
- Proven professional experience working as a Driver within Lagos or major Nigerian cities.
- A valid and current Nigerian driver’s license.
- A clean driving record with zero history of major infractions or reckless driving.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local roads, routes, and neighborhoods.
- A polite, courteous, and professional disposition toward clients and colleagues.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations, such as rush hour.
