In this role, you will play a vital part in the daily operations of our institution by providing safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for students, staff, and official school errands. We are looking for an individual who embodies professionalism, patience, and a strong commitment to road safety while representing our esteemed institution with integrity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport students, staff, and authorized personnel to and from school, field trips, and official school events.
  • Observe all traffic laws, road signs, and school safety policies at all times.
  • Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, brakes, tire pressure, and fuel levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the assigned vehicle interior and exterior on a regular basis.
  • Promptly report any mechanical faults, damages, or required servicing to the school management.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger manifests.
  • Handle vehicle documents, insurance renewals, and licensing requirements in coordination with administration.
  • Perform minor routine maintenance and emergency repairs when necessary.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC certificate or equivalent educational qualification.
  • Valid and current professional Driver’s License (Class E or relevant category).
  • Proven professional driving experience, preferably within an educational institution or corporate organization.
  • Excellent knowledge of Akwa Ibom State and Nigerian road networks and traffic regulations.
  • Good defensive driving skills with a clean driving record and no history of major accidents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to relate well with students and staff.
  • Good moral character, trustworthiness, and discipline in alignment with Catholic mission school values.
