About the Role
Spin 95.3 FM, a vibrant commercial broadcast radio station operating out of Umuahia, Abia State, is currently seeking a professional and dependable Driver to join our growing team. As a key part of our logistics and operations, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of station staff, management, and equipment. If you possess a strong knowledge of Southeastern Nigerian routes, excellent driving records, and a commitment to road safety, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport station staff, management, and guests to and from designated locations within Abia State and across the Southeastern region.
- Ensure station vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and serviced regularly to prevent downtime.
- Conduct routine pre-and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking oil, water, tire pressure, and brakes.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
- Handle official documents, deliveries, and errands for the radio station efficiently.
- Minimum of an SSCE qualification with a valid, current Nigerian Driver's License.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within media organizations or corporate settings.
- Extensive knowledge of road networks, traffic patterns, and routes within Umuahia and the wider Southeast.
- Exceptional defensive driving skills with a clean driving record and zero history of major infractions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, and a high level of discretion and professionalism.
- Good physical fitness and ability to work flexible hours when required.
