About the Role
Jaza Energy, a pioneering last-mile energy company building solar charging stations and renting batteries in off-grid communities, is seeking a results-driven Regional Dispatcher for our fulfillment centre in Ughelli, Delta State. In this role, you will own last-mile transport execution, converting outbound demand into structured, optimised delivery plans to achieve high DIFOT performance, controlled run costs, and seamless POD closure.
Key Responsibilities- Own daily and weekly dispatch plans aligned to outbound demand and deployment schedules.
- Build optimised vehicle loads and assign routes before dispatch windows open.
- Cluster deliveries by territory to maximise route density and reduce cost per drop.
- Enforce system-based dispatch execution without relying on informal communication channels.
- Manage both internal fleet and 3PL drivers against defined SLAs and performance metrics.
- Conduct structured end-of-day debriefs with full Proof of Delivery (POD) and exception closure.
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in dispatch, transport coordination, or last-mile logistics.
- Strong understanding of last-mile logistics constraints in emerging markets.
- Proven experience managing 3PL networks and driver performance.
- Familiarity with dispatch platforms such as Loginext or Routific is an added advantage.
