About the Role
Emmanuel Bakeries Limited, a leading FMCG distributor in Kogi State with over a decade of excellence, is currently seeking responsible, experienced, and safety-conscious Drivers. In this role, you will play a vital part in our logistics network, ensuring the efficient and secure transportation of goods and staff across assigned routes.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company staff, products, documents, and authorized materials to designated locations.
- Operate assigned company vehicles responsibly and in strict compliance with traffic regulations.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of vehicle movement, mileage, and trip records.
- Ensure the proper security, handling, and timely delivery of all transported goods.
- Keep assigned vehicles clean, well-maintained, and free from unauthorized use.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of products as required by operational needs.
- Demonstrate high levels of professionalism when interacting with customers, colleagues, and the public.
- Valid driver's license appropriate for the assigned vehicle class.
- Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the FMCG, logistics, or distribution sector.
- Strong working knowledge of roads and routes within Kogi State and surrounding areas.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
- High level of reliability, punctuality, and commitment to road safety.
