About the Role
Proforce Limited, a global leader in defence solutions and armored vehicle manufacturing, is seeking a professional, safety-conscious, and reliable Driver to join our dynamic team in Abuja. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe, secure, and timely transportation of company executives, staff, visitors, and official materials, while maintaining the highest standards of vehicular care and adherence to Nigerian traffic laws.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company staff, executives, visitors, and materials to designated destinations within Abuja and surrounding areas.
- Conduct routine daily vehicle inspections to check fluid levels, tire pressure, brakes, and report any mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain the absolute cleanliness, security, and roadworthiness of assigned company vehicles at all times.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logbooks for all trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and scheduled maintenance.
- Ensure all vehicle documentation, including insurance, particulars, and licenses, remain valid and current.
- Strictly adhere to traffic regulations, road safety guidelines, and company transport policies.
- Handle official dispatches, document deliveries, and general errands as assigned by management.
- Demonstrate exceptional professionalism, discretion, and courtesy when interacting with staff, VIPs, and external stakeholders.
- Minimum of an SSCE, WAEC, NECO, or GCE qualification.
- Possession of a valid, current Nigerian Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience within a corporate or structured manufacturing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of Abuja route networks, major highways, and traffic management strategies.
- Strong understanding of defensive driving techniques and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
- High level of integrity, punctuality, and flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
