About the Role
ABNL Limited, a leading indigenous oil and gas servicing company incorporated in 1992, is seeking a professional and reliable Driver / Logistics Officer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our daily operations by ensuring the safe and timely transportation of personnel, materials, and official documents across designated locations.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company employees, clients, and authorized visitors to designated project sites, offices, and airports.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee roadworthiness.
- Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules, promptly reporting any mechanical issues or faults to management.
- Strictly adhere to company HSEQ policies, journey management procedures, and Nigerian traffic regulations.
- Maintain accurate daily vehicle logs, trip records, and documentation for all transported materials.
- Handle logistical errands including the collection and delivery of documents, spare parts, and equipment.
- Minimum of an SSCE/WAEC, NECO, or equivalent educational qualification.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.
- 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the oil and gas, construction, or logistics sectors.
- Deep familiarity with Nigerian road networks, traffic laws, and defensive driving techniques.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to identify and report common vehicle faults.
- Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and willingness to work flexible hours when required.
