About the Role
U-Connect Human Resources Consulting is hiring a professional Driver specializing in FMCG distribution to support our logistics operations in Lagos, Nigeria. You will play a vital role in ensuring fast-moving consumer goods are safely and promptly transported to distributors, retail outlets, and customers while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and road safety.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport FMCG products to assigned distributors and retail outlets according to strict delivery schedules.
- Conduct thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee absolute roadworthiness.
- Verify delivery quantities against invoices, obtain customer signatures, and manage documentation accurately.
- Report delivery discrepancies, traffic incidents, or vehicle faults immediately to management.
- Maintain compliance with Nigerian traffic laws, safety protocols, and company distribution policies.
- Assist warehouse personnel with safe product loading and offloading when required.
- Minimum of SSCE/WAEC qualification with a valid Nigerian Driver's License and LASDRI card.
- At least 3 years of professional driving experience within the FMCG, logistics, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of intra-city and interstate road networks across Nigeria.
- Proven expertise in defensive driving and basic vehicle troubleshooting.
