We are currently seeking a dependable, skilled, and safety-oriented Driver to join our dynamic team and support our daily operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, goods, materials, and company assets to designated locations across assigned routes.
- Ensure timely pick-up and delivery while strictly following optimized schedules and navigation plans.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to guarantee absolute roadworthiness.
- Maintain the cleanliness, proper upkeep, and regular servicing of the assigned company vehicle.
- Monitor fuel levels, engine oil, tire pressure, and report mechanical faults promptly to management.
- Ensure strict compliance with Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep accurate, up-to-date daily logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of goods and materials as required by company operations.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including insurance, vehicle license, and registration, remain valid.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and courtesy while representing Ascentech Services.
- Minimum of an SSCE or OND qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian Driver’s License with a clean and verifiable driving record.
- 2 to 5 years of proven professional driving experience within a structured corporate environment.
- Exceptional knowledge of local road networks, highways, and traffic management systems.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills for minor vehicle maintenance.
- Good communication skills, physical fitness, and the ability to work flexible hours when needed.
