About the Role
Vagan Oil & Gas Limited is a leading provider of oil and gas field maintenance, welding, fabrication, and civil and mechanical construction services operating across land and swamp locations in the Niger Delta. We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable professional Driver to join our dynamic team and support our daily operational logistics.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport company staff, management, and authorized visitors to various destinations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean, functional, and roadworthy condition at all times.
- Observe all traffic laws, road regulations, and company safety policies while driving.
- Plan efficient routes using sound knowledge of road networks to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Conduct routine vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven professional driving experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
- Valid Driver's Licence in good standing, appropriately matching the required vehicle class.
- Valid Defensive Driving Training (DDT) certificate is strictly required.
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of regional road networks and traffic regulations.
- Clean driving record with an absolute history free of major accidents or traffic violations.
