About the Role
Christ The Redeemers International Secondary School, operating under the esteemed Christ The Redeemer's School Movement (CRSM) of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), is currently seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and professional Driver. In this role, you will play a vital part in our daily operations by providing secure and efficient transportation for students, staff, and school officials within Sagamu and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on maintaining high standards of discipline, safety, and care, and we expect our drivers to embody these core values both on and off the road.
Key Responsibilities- Transport students safely to and from school, educational excursions, and approved school events.
- Drive staff and school management to official engagements as assigned by the administration.
- Perform routine daily vehicle checks, including monitoring oil, water, battery, brake, and tire pressure levels.
- Maintain cleanliness of the assigned school vehicle both inside and outside at all times.
- Promptly report any mechanical faults, damages, or required servicing to the transport officer or school management.
- Adhere strictly to Nigerian traffic laws, speed limits, and internal school transportation safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs of all trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger manifests.
- Possession of a First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) or equivalent educational qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a school or corporate setting.
- A valid, current Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Good knowledge of Ogun State and Lagos State road networks, traffic regulations, and routes.
- Exceptional defensive driving skills and a high sense of responsibility and punctuality.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous approach towards students and staff.
