About the Role
DEER Nigeria is looking for a dedicated and experienced Driver to join our fast-paced logistics and energy distribution team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of energy products including diesel, cooking gas, and related accessories to our customers. Key Responsibilities- Safely operate company vehicles to transport diesel, cooking gas, and energy accessories to designated locations.
- Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, checking fluid levels, tires, brakes, and lights.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs,waybills, and trip records as required by company standards.
- Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or traffic delays immediately to management.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries and interactions with clients.
- Assist with the loading and offloading of products when necessary, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the logistics, energy, or delivery sector.
- Valid Nigerian Driver's License with a clean driving record and deep knowledge of local routes.
- Good understanding of vehicle maintenance and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first attitude.
