About the Role
Domeo Resources International (DRI), a leading HR and Management Consultancy firm, is seeking an experienced and professional Driver to join our dynamic operations team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily business activities by ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of personnel, clients, and materials to various destinations. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of local road networks, exceptional defensive driving skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of vehicle care and passenger safety.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport staff, clients, and materials to designated locations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure punctual pick-up and drop-off schedules while navigating traffic effectively.
- Maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall good condition of the assigned company vehicle.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical faults promptly.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including licenses, insurance, and roadworthiness certificates, remain valid and up to date.
- Strictly adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company driving policies.
- Keep accurate and updated logs of daily trips, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Assist with basic loading and unloading of items as required by operational needs.
- Minimum of an SSCE / High School Diploma.
- Possession of a valid, current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- 2 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate environment.
- Extensive knowledge of major road networks, routes, and traffic regulations.
- Basic knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong interpersonal skills, effective communication, and a high level of discretion.
