About the Role
Gemameg Company Nigeria Limited is seeking a professional, experienced, and safety-conscious Driver to join our growing support team in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting personnel and materials safely, maintaining company vehicles, and ensuring punctuality across all assigned routes. The ideal candidate possesses excellent knowledge of Nigerian traffic laws, outstanding route-planning skills, and a strong commitment to professional conduct.
Key Responsibilities- Safely operate and maintain company vehicles in compliance with local traffic regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections, check fluid levels, and report mechanical issues promptly.
- Plan the most efficient routes using GPS and navigation systems to guarantee on-time arrivals.
- Maintain accurate logs for mileage, fuel consumption, and scheduled vehicle maintenance.
- Ensure the interior and exterior of the vehicle are clean, orderly, and presentable at all times.
- Ensure all vehicle documents, including licenses, insurance, and roadworthiness certificates, remain valid and up-to-date.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols, traffic laws, and emergency response guidelines.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) with proven professional driving experience.
- Must possess a valid, current Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Deep familiarity with local road networks, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Good physical condition and stamina to withstand long hours on the road.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and routine troubleshooting.
