We are seeking a reliable and professional Driver to join our team and support our editorial operations.
As our Driver, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Guild Press Limited. You will be responsible for transporting staff, equipment, and materials safely and professionally while maintaining the highest standards of vehicle maintenance and road safety.
Key Responsibilities- Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols
- Transport staff, news materials, and equipment to assigned locations within Lagos and surrounding areas
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, functionality, and perform routine maintenance checks
- Ensure punctuality and reliability in all assigned routes and schedules
- Maintain a professional demeanor with colleagues and external stakeholders
- Keep accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance
- Minimum 5 years of professional driving experience
- Proficiency in driving automatic transmission vehicles
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations
- Excellent knowledge of Lagos road networks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proximity to Ikeja is highly preferred
