Key Responsibilities
  • Safely transport management, staff, guests, and authorized personnel to assigned destinations in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, roadworthy, properly fueled, and maintained at all times.
  • Conduct routine pre- and post-trip checks on oil, water, tyres, brakes, lights, and battery.
  • Promptly report any mechanical faults, accidents, or maintenance requirements to management.
  • Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Strictly observe all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Utilize Google Maps, GPS, and expert knowledge of Lagos routes to navigate efficiently and avoid delays.
  • Handle official errands, document movement, and perform other transportation-related assignments as required.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or an equivalent educational qualification.
  • Valid and current Nigerian Driver’s Licence, with a clean driving record.
  • 3 to 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably within a corporate or executive environment.
  • Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Lagos roads, traffic patterns, and alternative routes.
  • Proficiency in driving both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
  • Possession of a valid LASDRI Card and defensive driving certification will be considered distinct advantages.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, confidentiality, and professional grooming.
