About the Role
Eye Foundation Hospital, Nigeria's premier private specialist eye care institution established in 1993, is seeking an experienced and reliable Driver to join our dynamic administrative team. In this role, you will provide secure, efficient, and professional transportation services for our staff, VIP visitors, and hospital equipment, while ensuring our vehicles are maintained to the highest safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Transport staff, patients, VIP visitors, consumables, and hospital equipment safely and punctually.
- Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks, including oil, tires, and general servicing requirements.
- Manage vehicle documentation, including mileage records, logbooks, car insurance, and license renewals.
- Execute official errands such as bank deposits, mail distribution, and picking up office supplies or flight tickets.
- Act as a backup for the receptionist by answering phones and greeting visitors during lunch hours.
- Assist with office and meeting room rearrangements, minor repairs, and general handyman tasks as needed.
- Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE).
- At least 2 years of proven professional experience as a corporate driver.
- Valid Nigerian driver’s license with an exceptional driving record and deep knowledge of local traffic laws.
- Basic technical skills in electrical or mechanical vehicle repairs will be an added advantage.
