About the Role
Beautiful Beginning Academy is a distinguished educational institution situated at Plot 1287, Bamanga Tukur Street, offering an integrated Nigerian and British curriculum for early years, primary, secondary, and special education needs. We are currently looking for a dependable, experienced, and professional Driver to join our dynamic team and ensure the safe, timely transportation of our students and staff members across designated routes in Abuja.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport students and staff to and from school and designated extracurricular locations on time.
- Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to management.
- Maintain the cleanliness, order, and overall good condition of the assigned school vehicle at all times.
- Strictly adhere to all Nigerian road safety regulations, traffic laws, and school transportation policies.
- Ensure disciplined, orderly, and secure boarding and disembarking of students during all transit operations.
- Exhibit high levels of professionalism, patience, and courteous communication when interacting with parents, students, and colleagues.
- Possession of a valid and current Nigerian Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record and impeccable character references.
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable professional driving experience, preferably within a school or childcare environment.
- Extensive and up-to-date knowledge of Abuja road networks, routes, and traffic management strategies.
- Demonstrated punctuality, reliability, and an unwavering commitment to passenger safety.
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours school events or activities.
- Proximity to Gudu, Apo, or surrounding residential areas within Abuja will be considered a strong advantage.
