In this full-time, on-site role, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of company personnel and goods while representing FESL with the utmost professionalism. Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport staff, management, and goods to designated locations within Lagos and surrounding regions.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal mechanical and operational condition.
  • Adhere strictly to all Nigerian traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company-specific safety procedures at all times.
  • Maintain accurate logs of daily trips, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and mileage.
  • Report any mechanical faults, accidents, or near-misses promptly to the appropriate management personnel.
  • Handle goods and deliveries with care, ensuring timely arrival and secure handling of all items transported.
  • Interact professionally with clients, partners, and internal staff, maintaining a courteous and customer-focused attitude.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Proven professional driving experience, preferably within the oil and gas, logistics, or corporate sector.
  • Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean, accident-free driving record.
  • Extensive geographical knowledge of Lagos routes, traffic patterns, and regional highways.
  • Basic knowledge of routine vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Fluent in both English and Yoruba, with excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Strong physical fitness and the ability to pass required health and safety screenings.
