Greywood Hotels & Apartments is situated in a serene and well-secured environment, providing clean and comfortable accommodation to work professionals, corporate entities, and leisure travelers alike. We are currently seeking a dedicated, professional, and reliable Driver to join our dynamic hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting guests, staff, and hotel goods safely and efficiently, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to superior customer service and hospitality excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Safely transport hotel guests, staff, and items to and from designated locations in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain the absolute cleanliness, hygiene, and roadworthiness of the assigned hotel vehicle at all times.
- Conduct routine pre- and post-trip inspections on vehicle condition, including fuel, oil, tires, and brakes, reporting any issues promptly.
- Strictly adhere to all local traffic laws, state regulations, and hotel safety policies to guarantee passenger security.
- Assist guests courteously with luggage handling and provide a welcoming presence during all pick-ups and drop-offs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date logs of vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance records, and daily trips.
- Coordinate seamlessly with the front desk and management team regarding daily guest transport schedules and itineraries.
- Manage minor vehicle troubleshooting and coordinate with trusted mechanics for major repairs when required.
- Ensure that all statutory vehicle documents, including insurance and vehicle registration papers, remain valid and current.
- Possession of a valid Nigerian driver's license with a clean driving record and deep knowledge of local routes.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional driving experience, preferably within the hospitality or corporate sector.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills with a smart and presentable appearance.
- Strong time management abilities and the capacity to remain calm, focused, and professional under pressure.
- Good physical fitness to comfortably assist guests with luggage loading and unloading.
- Willingness and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as operational demands require.
