About the Role
Zenith Carex International Limited, a leading logistics and clearing company specializing in freight forwarding, customs clearance, and haulage, is looking for a reliable and professional Dispatch Rider to join our growing team in Gombe. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining our reputation for prompt and efficient service by ensuring the safe transportation and delivery of parcels, documents, and shipments to various destinations.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients and suppliers at all times.
- Load, transport, and deliver items accurately and safely to designated locations.
- Abide by all traffic laws and maintain a clean, safe riding record.
- Ensure correct product quantities and types are delivered to the right customers.
- Dispatch letters, documents, and parcels promptly to designated destinations.
- Verify items issued and delivered by submitting acknowledgment copies and noting discrepancies.
- Keep the Operations Manager informed of any issues encountered during pickups or deliveries.
- Handle all shipments with utmost care to prevent damage or loss.
- Possession of at least a First Degree qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven professional dispatch rider experience.
- Expert ability to ride a motorcycle efficiently, defensively, and safely.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Gombe and its environs.
- Must possess a valid Rider's card and permit.
- Demonstrated courtesy, high integrity, and good personal hygiene.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise strong proactiveness.
